Ian Begley回復(fù)：“本-西蒙斯無疑是尼克斯最后一個(gè)名額的候選人之一。本周早些時(shí)候，尼克斯繼續(xù)對簽約西蒙斯表現(xiàn)出了強(qiáng)烈的興趣，因?yàn)槠渌蜿?duì)都在等到西蒙斯的決定。他已經(jīng)引起了聯(lián)盟中幾支球隊(duì)的興趣。尼克斯也對用最后一個(gè)名額簽下蘭德里-沙梅特保持著興趣。”

西蒙斯5年1.772億美元的頂薪合同已經(jīng)到期，他上賽季薪資超過了4000萬美元。今年休賽期，西蒙斯的行情基本都是底薪級別。

此前有美媒消息稱，本-西蒙斯預(yù)計(jì)將加盟凱爾特人。
