2023年8月6日在意大利舉行的特倫蒂諾杯冠軍賽，中國61-79不敵意大利，李凱爾迎來國家隊首秀并砍下11分。

隨后，李凱爾代表中國男籃征戰(zhàn)了2023年男籃世界杯的比賽，中國和塞爾維亞、南蘇丹和波多黎各同分在B組。最終男籃三戰(zhàn)皆墨被淘汰，李凱爾在世界杯場均貢獻13.0分5.6籃板3.4助攻1.0搶斷。
